System i Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that, in collaboration with Rescuenow Crisis Management Research Institute Co., Ltd., we have jointly developed “web-CriSIM,” a disaster response headquarters training simulation system powered by generative AI.
“web-CriSIM” is a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) training simulation system that enables organizations to conduct training for their disaster response headquarters—the internal command center during emergencies—directly on PCs. By conducting drills based on chronological, realistic damage scenarios generated by AI, participants can identify gaps in their existing BCP while cultivating the ability to make calm judgments and take command during actual crises. Because practical BCP training requires deep expertise in disaster management, organizations previously had to rely on external specialists; by leveraging web-CriSIM, companies can now carry out these drills entirely in-house. The system initially supports earthquake response scenarios.
■ Development and Sales Structure
Based on its deep expertise in disaster and crisis management, Rescuenow Crisis Management Research Institute established the quality standards and architectural design for the AI-generated training scenarios. System i is responsible for the overall development and operation of the web system, including the AI mechanism that generates the scenarios according to these standards.
Sales are scheduled to commence within 2026 through sales partners. Moving forward, we will expand our partner network to include crisis management consulting firms and providers of disaster prevention and mitigation solutions.
