Policy on Preventing Job-Hunting Harassment in New Graduate Recruitment

At System I Co., Ltd., we place great importance on creating an environment where candidates can participate with confidence in all aspects of our new graduate recruitment process, including company information sessions, internships, roundtable discussions, and interviews.
The recruitment process is not merely a one-sided evaluation of candidates by the company, but rather an important opportunity for both our candidates and our company to deepen our mutual understanding.
In our recruitment of new graduates, we place great importance on the following principles.

Basic Policy

In our recruitment of new graduates, we place great importance on the following principles.

We respect each and every candidate.

We respect everyone participating in the selection process as an individual.
Regardless of whether we are the employer or the job seeker, we will take care to avoid intimidating behavior or one-sided communication.

We will conduct a fair and impartial selection process.

We conduct our selection process based on information that is reasonable in light of our selection criteria, such as suitability for the position, abilities, experience, attitude toward learning, career aspirations, and alignment with our values.
We do not base our selection decisions on factors unrelated to an applicant’s aptitude or abilities.

We respect candidates’ freedom to make their own decisions.

The recruitment process is an important decision-making opportunity for candidates.
We respect the candidate’s own wishes regarding whether to proceed with the selection process, accept a job offer or decide on their future career path.
We will not unduly pressure you to accept our job offer or withdraw from other companies’ hiring processes.

We take the protection of personal information and privacy seriously.

Personal information, such as application materials, application details, information provided during interviews and meetings, and contact information, will be used solely for the purposes of the recruitment screening process and for communications related to hiring.
We will not use the information beyond the necessary scope or for purposes unrelated to recruitment activities.

What We Do Not Do

To ensure that all candidates can participate in the selection process with peace of mind, our company will not engage in the following behaviors.

・ Sexual remarks, references to physical characteristics, or inappropriate questions about romantic relationships or dating
・ Intimidating behavior, remarks that disparage a candidate’s character, or interviews that excessively pressure candidates
・ Strongly pressuring candidates to accept a job offer or withdraw from other companies’ selection processes
・ Asking personal questions unrelated to the selection process
・ Inappropriate contact via personal social media accounts or private contact information
・ Using candidate information for purposes other than recruitment
・ Words or actions that may cause candidates to feel discomfort or anxiety

During interviews and meetings, we strive to create an atmosphere where candidates feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and experiences.

Fair Hiring Practices

We do not ask questions or collect information regarding matters unrelated to a candidate’s aptitude or abilities.
For example, the following types of information will not be considered necessary for the selection process.

・ Matters related to registered domicile and place of birth
・ Matters related to family composition, family members’ occupations, and income
・ Matters related to living conditions and family environment
・ Matters related to religion, political party affiliation, ideology, and beliefs
・ Matters related to plans for marriage, childbirth, and child-rearing
・ Matters related to romantic relationships and whether or not the individual is currently dating
・ Other personal matters unrelated to job suitability or ability

Even during casual conversation, we take care to avoid asking about personal matters unrelated to the selection process, as candidates may feel that failing to answer such questions could affect their evaluation.

What We Value in Interviews and Consultations

During our interviews and meetings, we place great importance on carefully listening to candidates’ experiences, perspectives, and the challenges they wish to take on in the future.
For that reason, we strive to communicate in the following ways.

・ Explain things clearly so that the intent of the question is understood
・ Do not dismiss the candidate’s answers; carefully clarify their background and reasoning
・ Approach the interview as an opportunity for mutual understanding, rather than a one-sided evaluation
・ Be honest in conveying not only the company’s positive aspects but also realistic information about working there
・ Create an atmosphere where candidates feel comfortable asking questions

We strive to create a selection process where candidates can express themselves authentically.

We will handle candidate information obtained through our recruitment activities appropriately.
We will use your application materials, application information, details discussed during interviews and meetings, evaluation information, contact information, and other related data only to the extent necessary for the recruitment screening process and for communications related to hiring.
