We are pleased to announce the opening of our Fukuoka office on March 31, 2025, marking our first base in the West Japan area.
System i has primarily provided DX (Digital Transformation) support to financial institutions in the Tokyo metropolitan and Kanto areas. Capitalizing on our proven track record, we have decided to expand into the Kyushu region—home to many of Japan’s leading regional banks—to support the DX initiatives of an even broader range of clients. With Fukuoka as our base, we will further strengthen our operational structure to provide higher-quality services and support.
■ Background of the Fukuoka Office Opening
・System i has expanded its business through DX support for financial institutions in the Tokyo and Kanto areas since its founding. Since mid-last year, we have seen strong interest from financial institutions in the Kyushu region and anticipate further growth in orders. By expanding into Kyushu, we aim to leverage our expertise to support the DX of more customers.
・Through the establishment of the Fukuoka base, we aim to further strengthen our development, sales, and administrative structures. This will allow us to respond quickly and flexibly to the diverse needs of customers in the Kyushu region and establish a system for providing high-quality services.
■ Active Recruitment Initiatives
We aim to build a development structure of 30 personnel at the Fukuoka base by fiscal year 2026. We intend to expand the scale of this base by actively recruiting remote workers and seniors. Furthermore, the opening of this office will facilitate communication among employees and enhance “Developer Experience” (DX)—a key goal for our company.
